Dougie Mac is seeking a Compassionate and Skilled

Clinical Nurse Specialist

to join our innovative Community Team. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality palliative and end-of-life care across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities




As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will:

Deliver

holistic, person-centred care

for patients with life-limiting illnesses (e.g. cancer, MND, heart failure, lung disease). Work as part of a

supportive, multidisciplinary team

, coordinating care and supporting patients and their families at home. Contribute to service development, audits, and education of colleagues. Use your

leadership and communication skills

to act as a patient advocate and role model in palliative care. Benefit from ongoing professional development, supervision, and funded opportunities to enhance your skills and academic portfolio.

About You




We're looking for someone who is:

A

Registered Nurse

with at least

3 years' post-registration experience

. Experienced in

palliative or end-of-life care

. Skilled in communication, leadership, and teamwork. Motivated, flexible, and committed to delivering the highest standards of care. A

car owner/driver

(essential for community visits). A development Clinical Nurse Specialist role would be considered for the right candidate

Salary:

37,000 - 48,000 FTE per annum


Development Clinical Nurse Specialist: 34,000 - 37,000 FTE per annum

Hours:

37.5 hours a week (part time considered - 30 hours)


Predominantly Monday to Friday 9-5. Will be required to cover weekends to a rota.
