An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a busy and dynamic team within the West Midlands regional Haemophilia service. The post will be based on site at Birmingham Children's Hospital (BWC). The post holder will be required to manage their time allowing collaborative work to improve patient pathways within the Haemophilia service.
Main duties of the job
To coordinate and operationally manage a comprehensive Haemophilia service within BWC, in liaison with the haemophilia MDT; ensuring that appropriate treatment is provided for children with haemophilia, other acquired and congenital bleeding disorders and thrombotic disorders. To provide highly specialist nursing skills, knowledge and expertise in the care and management of children and adolescents who have haemophilia and other acquired & congenital bleeding disorders. To work alongside the Anticoagulation service and Haemoglobinopathy Service
