We wish to recruit a practitioner who has specialist knowledge, experience and/or training in mental health risk management. These skills would provide clinical expertise to support and further develop an established multi-disciplinary team in a Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team. The multi- disciplinary team are made up of Urgent Care Practitioners, CRHTT team leader, Discharge team leader, Psychologists, Senior Support Workers and Peer Support workers. You will work in the CRHTT working alongside a Team Leader, a Discharge Lead and a Service Manager.



To provide comprehensive assessments of mental health specific to the needs of service area.

To manage a caseload of clients with complex mental health needs and undertake case management/lead professional/ CPA as needed.

To be able to communicate with and meet the needs of families and carers as appropriate to the care group and the individual client.

To have experience of and specialist knowledge on interventions to be able to lead in a clinical area.

To utilise specialist care group knowledge to provide specialist training and advice to other professionals, students and agencies

To develop teaching and training sessions for staff and professionals on specialist subject areas relevant to the care group.

To develop service pathways for clients in care group and contribute to the ongoing development of the service

Participate in service development

Ability to lead clinical discussions in team

Have extensive clinical skills in assessment and mental health risk management with patients who are in crisis.

Have experience of and specialist knowledge on interventions to be able to lead in a clinical area

It is preferable to have a degree/diploma supplemented by specialist qualifications, training or experience but not essential

Degree/diploma level supplemented by specialist qualification, training, experience, courses to masters level equivalent relevant to the care group Evidence of post registration training in relevant service area Completion of Mentorship Course/ENB equivalent
