Come and join the TIDES (At Risk Mental State) Service as Clinical Nurse Specialist!



In our service we support young people (aged 14-35 years) who are experiencing an at risk mental state. We have enthusiastic and skilled staff who provide the support that is needed - and they are motivated to make a real difference to young people and adults, their families and carers.



The Therapeutic Interventions for Distressing unusual Experiences Service (TIDES) is a team working therapeutically with young people across Norfolk & Waveney.



Our team offers young people evidence-based interventions such as psychoeducational work, individual CBT and family therapeutic work aimed at helping our young people and their families to manage their unusual experiences. TIDES practitioners work with small manageable caseloads and hold an integrated approach to the care we provide.



Your choice of base could be Norwich, Great Yarmouth, or King's Lynn. However you would be expected to work flexibly between bases in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Kings Lynn,

The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to provide specialist clinical interventions to our young people, their families and loved ones. It also involves delivery of leadership activities within the team.



The ideal candidate will be a team player, have a good interpersonal skill, is flexible in their approach, and is enthusiastic about working with young people and young adults, to help live the lives they want to.



If appointed, you will:



Deliver clinical interventions. Work as a non-medical prescriber. Offer support, supervision and informal training to your colleagues. Contribute to multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings. Undertake other clinical tasks within the team. Deputise for the Community Team Manager on occasion.

You will have a nursing qualification, trained as a non-medical prescriber, and will have developed your skills through extensive experience in mental health.
