An exciting opportunity has arisen for a practitioner psychologist to work in the Goole Community Mental Health Team. The post is available as either a part time 8a role immediately, or a band 7-8a with development support, depending on experience.
We are keen to hear from psychologists already working in an 8a post who are looking for a new challenge, band 7 clinicians looking to develop into a more senior role, or psychologists who are newly or soon to be qualified who wish to develop in their first post.
This is a great time to join the mental health division psychology specialty, as we move towards the implementation of a new psychological workforce strategy that strengthens the psychological support offer to service-users, and you will support the senior psychologist across the East Riding in developing and delivering this strategy, alongside other service developments.
This post will offer an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical skills across assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation, in a fast-paced environment, working with clients with a wide-range of presentations and complex needs. You will also have opportunities to supervise and consult with other colleagues, from both within and outside the psychological workforce.
The post is available as either a 30 hrs per week Band 8a role immediately, or initially 37.5 hrs pw band 7 role converting to a 30 hrs pw Band 8a role on completion of development pathway- dependent on experience.
