to join a progressive Primary Care Network delivering high-quality ADHD assessments, prescribing, and titration support. This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely rewarding role within a collaborative, values-driven neurodevelopmental team where we will allow the successful clinician to work the role permanently on a part time basis and do a couple of days locum work within our service also.
This post is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in ADHD medication management, mental health, or complex prescribing within a PCN or community setting. You will work alongside specialist clinicians to ensure patients receive safe, consistent, and patient-centred care throughout their treatment journey.
About the Role
As our Clinical Pharmacist, you will:
Provide ADHD medication initiation, titration, and monitoring in line with national guidance
Deliver safe, person-centred prescribing with a focus on clinical excellence and continuity of care
Work closely with ADHD assessors, Clinical Leads, GPs, and the wider neurodevelopmental team
Contribute to clinical decision-making and multidisciplinary discussions
Support seamless transition to shared care where appropriate
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with patients and primary care colleagues
Champion high-quality, ethical ADHD care within a PCN-led service
What We're Looking For
Registered Clinical Pharmacist with significant post-qualification experience
Prior work in a
PCN
or primary care setting preferred (hospital experience also considered)
Community Pharmacy experience will not be considered
Experience prescribing ADHD medication (highly desirable)
Independent Prescriber qualification (V300)
Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work autonomously
Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient wellbeing
Comfortable working within a fast-growing, innovative neurodevelopmental pathway
