Clinical Pharmacist - Private Hospital

Location: Farnham, Surrey

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa342,000 per annum (Up to band 7) - dependent on experience

Hours: Full or part time hours available

Contract type: Permanent

About the role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Pharmacist to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Farnham, Surrey. The hospital provides person centred care from consultations and advanced diagnostics, as well as personalised treatments and aftercare. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to work delivering a comprehensive pharmacy service and working as part of a friendly team. The role will involve interacting with patients across various departments and is a great way to expand upon your skills.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as a Clinical Pharmacist and responsible for the following;

• Provide advice and support to consultants, nurses and other clinicians
• Ensuring safe, appropriate and cost-effective us of medicines throughout the hospital
• Build strong working relationships with consultants and colleagues working to improve patient outcomes
• Plan and deliver pharmaceutical care to meet patients health and well- being
• Treating every patient with empathy and compassion
• Suggest new processes/ equipment to improve health outcomes and increase the safety throughout the hospital

Who we\'re looking for

• Registered Pharmacist
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• GPHC registration with no restrictions
• At least 1 years experience working as a Clinical Pharmacist in the UK
• Ideally hospital experience but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Non-medical prescribing would be advantageous
