Join a nationally renowned and forward-thinking CAMHS service committed to innovation, research, and transforming young lives.
We're seeking an experienced psychologist to become a vital part of our dynamic inpatient adolescent team. You'll work with young people aged 12-18 across two wards, delivering high-impact individual and group interventions, leading our DBT programme, and supporting the wider psychological provision.
This highly specialist role offers the opportunity to work with young people facing complex mental health challenges, including psychosis, eating disorders, personality disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, and learning disabilities. You'll be providing in-depth psychological and neuropsychological assessments and interventions as part of a nationally recognised CAMHS service with a strong reputation for excellence, both in clinical care and research.
Grounded in evidence-based practice, our service is at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative therapies. We are equally committed to supporting our staff, offering opportunities for professional development, involvement in national training initiatives, and contributions to school-based mental health programmes. If you're passionate about youth mental health and want to make a meaningful impact, this role could be the perfect fit.

You will provide supervision and guidance to junior psychologists, trainees, and assistant psychologists within the service.
You will function as a lead specialist in psychological assessment and treatment including particular therapeutic models such as CBT and behavioural interventions.
You will contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment.
You'll have the opportunity to lead team formulations and case discussions, while actively working with staff to support young people's families and the wider local network.
