Autism Anglia is pleased to announce the expansion of our gold standard diagnostic service to widen our multidisciplinary team offering.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychologist to support our established friendly and supportive Diagnostics team, delivering within the wider context of Autism Anglia's mission of "Working together to put the needs of autistic people at the centre of everything we do", and now including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments to expand our neurodevelopmental pathway.
Job Title: Clinical Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist
Reports to: Therapy Lead
Hours of Work: Flexible - approx 15 hours per week to support Assessments
Place of work: Hybrid - time will be spent at Head Office, Colchester and working from home
This post would be suited to a Band 7/8 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, specialising within the autism/ADHD field, who wants to be part of a service that has been evaluated by partners as having an excellent diagnostic approach adhering to NICE guidelines.
We can consider Counselling Psychologists who have ADIR training and are HCPC registered.
Your main duties will include:
Person-centred diagnostic assessments using gold standard assessments of ADOS and ADI-R and DIVA within our Multi-Disciplinary Team
Working with the Diagnostic team in pre- and post-diagnostic support
Experience:
Doctorate in Psychology, registered with the HCPC
Experience in working with neurodiverse individuals
Experience of autism and ADHD assessment and diagnosis
Trained in the following gold standard tools: ADOS, ADI-R and DIVA
