Band 8 level Clinical Psychologist

to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological input as part of our friendly and dedicated multi-disciplinary team. You'll work with individuals with complex neurorehabilitation needs, supporting their psychological recovery and adjustment, and contributing to their wider rehabilitation journey.

The role:




As our Clinical Psychologist, you will:

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients by upholding robust safeguarding practices and protecting their human rights at all times. Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments, clinical formulations, and interventions, including specialist neuropsychological assessments, for individuals with acquired brain injury. Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions aimed at reducing psychological distress and improving functional outcomes. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions to ensure continuous improvement and positive impact on recovery. Provide clinical guidance and supervision to support colleagues in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions. Take proactive responsibility for maintaining security procedures and continuously assessing and managing clinical risks. Maintain registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Clinical Psychologist, including active engagement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and uphold competence in administering psychological and risk assessments. Foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues, families, carers, and external visitors, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.

About you:




For this role, you'll need:

HCPC registration Significant post-qualification experience working in neuropsychology or neurorehabilitation settings. Skilled in a range of therapeutic approaches relevant to brain injury (e.g. CBT, ACT, systemic approaches). Confident working autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. Passionate about delivering person-centred, values-based care. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
