We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Leeds, a category B remand prison housing around 1847 patients aged 21+. Within this role you will work with a broad range of complex presentations. The role would be suit an experienced Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations, neurodiversity and complex trauma. You must be familiar with trauma informed approaches and will work as part of the established Integrated Mental Health Team. You will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.
Hours
This role is part time working 22.5 hours/ 3 days per week to be work between Monday- Friday, we are flexible which days are worked.
Salary
This position is a part time, you'll receive a salary of up to 65,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a qualified, HCPC registered Psychologist, your responsibilities will vary. You will
Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training, supervision and reflective practice
Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation and research profile as appropriate

Qualifications required
Full HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
Proven experience in Clinical/ Forensic or Counselling Psychology
Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
Experience working with psychological Trauma
Excellent communication skills
