About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a

Clinical Psychologist

to join a specialist neurological rehabilitation service in Liverpool. The role involves providing clinical psychology and neuropsychology input to adults with acquired brain injury as part of a multidisciplinary team. You'll support individuals in achieving their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based psychological interventions, assessments, and collaborative care planning.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessments for adults with acquired brain injury. Formulate and implement tailored, evidence-based intervention plans within a multidisciplinary framework. Deliver a range of psychological and neurorehabilitation therapies (individual, group, and family-based). Provide psychological input to team formulations, care planning, and risk assessments. Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to data collection and service evaluation. Offer specialist advice and support to colleagues, families, and carers. Participate in service development, research, and audit projects to enhance clinical practice. Ensure high standards of professional conduct and adherence to confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

About You

Degree in Psychology eligible for Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR) with the BPS. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (BPS-accredited) or equivalent. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience in neurorehabilitation or working with acquired brain injury. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Able to manage complex clinical information and work within an MDT. Resilient and able to work with service users presenting with challenging behaviour.
