PSYCHOLOGIST NEEDED FOR THE LAUNCH OF A NEW APP

Duties

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate patients' mental health and developmental needs. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals. Provide therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, play therapy, and other evidence-based practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, including educators, social workers, and medical professionals. Engage in clinical research to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices and therapies. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements. Offer support and guidance to families of clients, particularly those with special educational needs or disabilities. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychology.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practitioner psychologist. Proven experience working with children, individuals with autism, and those with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong skills in clinical research methodologies and data analysis. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of client challenges. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
