Permanent | 37.5 hours per week



We're recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodisability and Neurology teams at Ryegate Children's Centre. You'll provide psychological assessment, therapy, and consultation for children and families, working closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team.



We welcome applications from soon-to-qualify trainees and experienced Band 7s looking for a new challenge in a dynamic paediatric setting.

About You:

You're a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with doctoral-level training accredited by the BPS, covering psychopathology, psychometrics, neuropsychology, therapeutic models, and lifespan development. You have clinical experience--beyond a single placement--working with children and families with healthcare needs. You're collaborative, compassionate, and ready to make a meaningful impact.



Reporting to the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist in Paediatrics, Neurology and Neurodisability



Deliver psychological assessment and intervention for children with neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions, including autism



Undertake cognitive assessments to support diagnosis and care planning



Provide individual and group-based therapeutic interventions



Offer consultation and psychological input to multidisciplinary teams



Receive direct supervision and access peer support within a large therapy network



Engage in ongoing professional development and specialist training



Flexible working options available, including part-time and job share
