Please refer to the Person Specification and for full details of the posts main responsibilities. This permanent post is based at the Fitzwilliam Centre. The post involves working as part of the MDT providing highly specialised evidence-based psychological therapies to people with complex anxiety, mood disorders and PTSD. The role involves direct clinical work with service users and their families/carers providing psychological interventions for people who require highly specialised psychological therapies and for whom there has been an inadequate response to first line interventions, or for whom these interventions are not appropriate.



You will need to have an enthusiasm for, and experience of working with service users with complex needs, as well as experience of and a respect for working in multidisciplinary teams. It is a really exciting time for the service as we are working upon developing links with service user groups in order to shape and develop care pathways and to improve interfaces between mental health services and 3rd sector organisations. The post holder will contribute to these areas of development and will play a key role in the delivery of psychotherapeutic interventions to service users, their families and carers. The role will also involve complex assessments, formulation and contributing to a consultation service to other services.



There will also be opportunities to supervise trainees on placement with the tea
