Job Summary



The Clinical Research Administrator (CRA) is an integral part of the study team and will assist management, nursing team and accounts team in all aspects of study activity.

Main Responsibilities



Clinical Trials Administrator



Provide administrative and secretarial support to management and nursing team, including tasks such as telephoning GP surgeries, study participants, arrange GP letters and Coordinate payment to patients for attending study visits.

Create and maintain filing systems, ensuring that the filing is up to date for audit purposes.

Act as a point of contact and liaise with Sponsor. Set up and maintain mailing lists.

Assist with administrative tasks such as minute taking, filing, scanning and photocopying.

Maintain office supplies inventory e.g. stationary and clinical supplies and place orders as needed.

Assist with the archiving of study related records.

Pre-screen patients (for simpler studies).

Front of House/Receptionist



Welcome and greet visitors with a warm and friendly demeanour.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous manner.

Manage the reception area to ensure cleanliness and organisation.

Coordinate with team to fulfil client requests and inquiries.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages and deliveries.

Ensure security protocols are followed by verifying guest identification.

Digital Marketing



Update company website e.g. ensure details are up to date and accurate. Assist with social media and marketing activities.

Qualifications:



Essential Criteria



Education to A level or equivalent.

Maths & English at GSCE level, Grade C or above or equivalent.

Evidence of well-developed IT Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

Positive Attitude.

Motivated, able and willing to learn.

Punctual and Flexible.

Desirable



Experience within a clinical research environment.

Experience in a clinical setting either NHS or equivalent.

Knowledge of ICH GCP and clinical trial regulations.

Experience of servicing meetings and minute taking.
