We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Sister to join our dedicated team on ward 27 orthopeadic team providing high-quality nursing orthopeadic care to adult patient This role is pivotal in supporting our vision of delivering outstanding, compassionate care while fostering the development of our nursing and medical workforce.



As a Clinical Sister, you will work collaboratively with the Ward Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the ward, lead by example, and contribute to a positive, supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Essential:

Experience in caring for Adult Surgical/orthopeadic/medical nursing experience



Compassionate, dynamic, and enthusiastic approach



Strong leadership and organizational skills



Ability to motivate and support staff in a busy clinical setting

Training & Development

An ongoing training Programme is in place, supported by our Clinical Nurse Educator teams. You will play a key role in ward-based learning and staff development, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence in care delivery.



Key Responsibilities



Support the Ward Manager in operational and clinical leadership



Promote a culture of compassionate, safe, and effective care



Mentor and develop nursing staff through education and supervision



Contribute to workforce retention and professional growth initiatives



Candidates must have excellent communication skills, IT skills and experience with electronic patient records is desirable, however training will be given.



The applicant must be able to exhibit their commitment to developing the service by demonstrating the ability to work independently as well as within a dedicated team to provide a high quality patient experience.

Good Leadership skills are required as you will provide clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing team and liaise with the wider multidisciplinary team, regularly taking charge of this complex and busy ward.
