Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Specialist Practitioner to join our West Norfolk Adult Community Mental Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary service delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to adults with complex mental health needs in the community.



The post holder will provide specialist clinical leadership , manage a complex caseload, and contribute to service development, supervision, and quality improvement within the team.



Deliver advanced mental health assessments , formulation, and evidence-based interventions for adults with complex and enduring mental health difficulties



Hold and manage a complex caseload , acting as Care Coordinator under the Care Programme Approach (CPA) where appropriate



Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and risk management , including safeguarding and crisis planning



Provide specialist clinical advice, consultation, and leadership within the multidisciplinary team



Support service delivery in line with NSFT policies, NICE guidance, and national standards



Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and audit activity



Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to junior staff and students



Work collaboratively with primary care, social care, voluntary sector, and other partner agencies
