The Clinical Support Worker (Level 3) is a member of the care team who provides nursing care and interventions to a delegated patient caseload, assisting the Registered Nurse/Practitioners to deliver high quality and effective care.



Duties will be dependent upon clinical area of work and if it is a hospital or community role and additional training undertaken but may include:



Personal care or chaperone duties Supporting patients with bathing, toileting, dressing and meals Records patient information A range of delegated clinical care duties including dressings, medication administration Undertakes and records patients' vital signs Escalate any concerns in observation or change in patient's condition Enhanced observations Patient escort role
