We have created an exciting new clinical support post in speech and language therapy at the RSCH in Brighton. This post has been specifically designed to support the SaLT specialist teams in ENT and paediatric dysphagia. Working across both specialties offers a unique opportunity to develop a breadth of knowledge, skills and competencies. To enable this, you will be supported by both teams of highly experienced speech and language therapists who will work with you , supervise your input to patients and monitor your development in the role
Specific clinical roles will include face to face contact with patients and/or telephone reviews, running groups and assisting in specific clinics such as videofluoroscopy. Y ou will also be responsible for the administration of a variety of outpatient clinics within the se specialties and i t is therefore essential that you have well developed IT skills to support the range of systems that will be used for the administration element of the role and are able to work in a time - efficient and dynamic way.
We have an experienced SaLT team of around 50 people working across the Trusts sites . We are committed to offering robust CPD, training and peer support.

Carry out therapy programmes under the guidance of the SaLT teams.
Conduct telephone reviews with patients and carers.
Assist in a variety of clinics.
Carry out clinical administration.
Organise, prepare and administrate outpatient clinics.
