Marches Group is a growing provider of regulated training, event medical services, and safety consultancy. We are looking for a Clinical Training & Operations Practitioner to join our team.
This is a primarily training-focused role, delivering regulated first aid and safety courses to a wide range of clients. To maintain real-world credibility and clinical competence, the role also includes operational and patient-facing work within our event medical services during periods where training delivery is reduced.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, values high professional standards, and wants to remain operational rather than becoming classroom-bound.
What you will be doing
Delivering regulated, face-to-face first aid and safety training
Preparing course materials, equipment, and learning environments
Assessing learners and maintaining training quality standards
Supporting operational delivery and event medical services when required
Undertaking patient-facing duties appropriate to your competence and scope
Maintaining clinical skills, CPD, and professional standards
Working flexibly across training venues and event sites
Training delivery scope
You will primarily deliver a range of regulated training courses, including:
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
First Aid at Work (FAW) and Requalification
Paediatric First Aid and Basic Life Support
Mental Health First Aid
Pre-hospital and emergency care-related training at appropriate levels
Workplace safety courses such as fire safety, manual handling, working at height and risk assessment
We would expect successful candidates to be able to deliver the majority of our core courses on appointment. Structured support and development will be provided to upskill onto additional courses where required.
Who we are looking for
We are more interested in the right person than a specific job title.
You are likely to have:
A strong clinical or emergency care background
Experience in a blue-light, pre-hospital, emergency department, urgent care or similar environment
Confidence delivering training, or a genuine interest in developing as a trainer
A professional, approachable manner with learners and clients
The ability to work flexibly and adapt to varied environments
We are looking for trainers who bring real, hands-on experience in the subjects they teach. This does not mean you must be a paramedic. We welcome applications from experienced first responders, firefighters, nurses, healthcare professionals, ambulance technicians, and others who have worked in practical, real-world environments and can confidently translate that experience into engaging, high-quality training.
Hours and flexibility
We are open to either a full-time or part-time appointment. For part-time roles, we are looking for a minimum commitment of approximately 20 hours per week, averaged over the year.
Some travel and occasional weekend work will be required, particularly for event delivery, but the role is designed to be sustainable and balanced.
What we offer
A permanent PAYE role with stability and flexibility
Salary of 26,000 - 32,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time)
Annualised hours to support variable workloads
Employer pension contributions
Paid CPD and role-related training
Ongoing development onto additional qualifications
The opportunity to remain operational alongside training delivery
A supportive, professional working environment
How to apply
Please apply via Indeed with your CV. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an informal discussion before interview.
