Are you looking for a career in clinical research? We are excited to announce that we have an opportunity for a new Clinical Trial Associate to join the team at our clinical trial unit within Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

The Clinical Trial Associate I is a vital member of the BDD Clinical Site team. They contribute to the smooth delivery of the day-to-day activities on the clinical site and successful delivery of clinical trials for our clients. They require excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate flexibility to thrive in an adaptive workplace. Supported by an experienced clinical research team you would have responsibility for the care and well being of our trial volunteers and be involved in volunteer recruitment, setting up the unit for clinical visits and performing conduct procedures including blood processing, scintigraphic imaging and source completion.

This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Hours are generally normal business hours (Mon-Fri 8-4), however shift work is required when clinical trials are running including evenings, nightshift and occasional weekend work. A shift allowance is paid when applicable.

Although experienced applicants are welcome, no previous experience in clinical research is necessary as full training will be provided.

Scope for career and salary progression is available on completion of a probationary period.

Education, Qualifications and Experience



National 5's including English and Maths or equivalent; Degree in life science discipline (desirable) >2 years experience working in a team in a business setting (desirable) Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and time management skills Proactive approach with high levels of initiative and commitment Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing plans and priorities
