We are seeking a dedicated and charismatic cloakroom assistant to join our reception team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role at one of the city's exclusive wedding and events venues.

The Role



As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Cloakroom Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. You will be the face of our company, providing a secure, organised, and highly professional service while maintaining the luxury standards our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities



Guest Services:

Greet guests upon arrival in a warm, professional, and friendly manner, assisting them with their coats, bags, and personal belongings.

Organisation & Efficiency:

Manage the cloakroom area in a tidy, efficient, and organised manner, ensuring all items are correctly ticketed and stored safely.

Security & Safety:

Ensure the safety and security of all guests' belongings, adhering strictly to lost property procedures and cloakroom policies.

Issue Resolution:

Confidently and calmly manage any guest inquiries or requests related to the cloakroom, upholding our high standards of service even in a fast-paced environment.

Cleanliness:

Maintain the impeccable presentation and cleanliness of the cloakroom and surrounding public areas at all times.

What We Are Looking For



Experience:

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a high-end hospitality, events, or luxury retail setting, is advantageous but not essential.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished presence and impeccable attention to detail.

Personal Attributes:

A proactive, reliable, and punctual individual with the ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.

Flexibility:

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to align with event timings.
