Job Description

Protec FM are looking to recruit close cleaning operative to join our close cleaning operations in the Glasgow area. Your role will be to work as part of team cleaning communal closes ensuring all work is carried out on time and to a high standard. General work includes sweeping & mopping of stairs, cleaning of walls and ledges and washing windows.

The hours of work are between 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday. The role is initially on a temporary basis with opportunities to become permanent.

Experience of using a high level wash and reach window cleaning system is preferred but not essential.

We would prefer candidates to have a UK driving licence as there can be opportunities to drive the company works vehicles however this is not essential to the role.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor

Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
