CloudTech24 is a growing Managed Service Provider delivering IT support, cybersecurity, and cloud services across a wide range of clients. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architecture Lead to take ownership of our cloud strategy, solution design, and technical standards across Microsoft 365,Google Workspace, Azure, IRONSCALES and associated technologies.

This role acts as the senior authority for cloud architecture within the business responsible for designing secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions, guiding the engineering and project teams, managing complex escalations, and ensuring that CloudTech24's cloud offerings remain efficient, and aligned with industry best practice.

The role is 9am to 5pm, with a 30 minute break for lunch, Monday to Friday and based at our Woking head office.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace. Define architectural standards, design principles, and best practices for both Microsoft and Google cloud deployments. Provide technical leadership, governance, and mentorship to engineers, consultants, and project teams. Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex cloud issues across all supported platforms. Lead the design and architecture of Azure, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace solutions, covering identity, security, networking, infrastructure, collaboration, and endpoint services. Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures that leverage the strengths of each platform. Develop CloudTech24's cloud service portfolio, including offerings for multi-cloud and cross-platform integrations. Create and maintain reference architectures, design blueprints, and reusable configuration standards. Oversee cloud-related projects across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Azure from scoping to implementation and handover. Ensure all cloud migration, consolidation, and transformation projects are delivered with technical excellence and adherence to standards. Coordinate with project managers and technical leads to ensure resource alignment and quality assurance. Drive best practices in cloud security architecture including Zero Trust, identity protection, conditional access, data loss prevention, and endpoint security. Ensure Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments are configured securely and meet compliance requirements. Work closely with the security team to assess risk, implement mitigations, and maintain strong governance across all client cloud environments. Stay ahead of emerging capabilities across Azure, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace, interpreting roadmap changes and advising on adoption. Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and cost control in cloud operations. Coach and upskill internal teams through knowledge sharing, documentation, and best-practice adoption.

Experience

Extensive experience architecting cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace. Strong knowledge of identity and access management including Azure AD / Entra ID, Google Identity, SSO, MFA, and federation. Experience designing and troubleshooting hybrid cloud environments including Azure networking, secure connectivity, and onboarding processes. Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) and equivalent Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Admin Console). Proven experience delivering cloud transformations, tenant migrations, coexistence models, and cross-platform integrations. Ability to lead complex technical escalations and mentor engineers across multiple cloud platforms. Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MS-102, AZ-500, Google Professional Collaboration Engineer, or equivalent are advantageous.
