Requirements:

The successful candidate will be working with our technology team, to help secure our customer facing web applications and the services which run our company. Some of the responsibilities could include building and maintaining new security tooling, running threat modelling exercises or providing advice and guidance to help improve our security posture.

The Person:

A successful candidate should have,

• An enthusiastic attitude for getting involved in everything cloud security related.
• A good understanding of AWS and security architecture.
• Operational experience using AWS services.
• Sufficient knowledge of python, PHP, Ruby and JavaScript to be able to build and maintain security tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, CloudFormation, InSpec, Git and Splunk.

The role will involve a large degree of freedom to research and suggest security activity starting from occasionally loose requirements.

The role will also require a great attention to detail, and the organisational skills to keep on top of a varied workload covering everything under the cloud security umbrella. The individual would be expected to maintain relationships within the business and with third parties such as testing companies or security service providers.
