Cloud Senior Solution Engineer

to join our high-performing Professional Services team.

What You'll Be Doing

As a

Cloud Senior Solution Engineer

, you'll lead the technical charge on delivering top-tier cloud and infrastructure solutions to our customers. From designing secure and scalable architectures to rolling up your sleeves during implementation, you'll own it end to end.


You'll be working on a variety of exciting projects across sectors and technologies, collaborating with project managers, pre-sales experts, and engineers to deliver innovative solutions with real impact.


Here's a snapshot of your day-to-day:

Design and deliver

cloud and on-prem infrastructure projects using Azure, AWS, VMware and more.

Own the technical delivery

- from scoping and surveys to deployment and documentation.

Produce detailed work plans

and make sure every project runs like a well-oiled machine.

Be the go-to expert

for stakeholders, support teams, and customers.

Solve complex technical problems

and lead strategic initiatives.

Mentor and share knowledge

with other engineers -- we grow together.

Continuously improve

how we do things -- because excellence is never "done." Represent Wavenet on social media and at industry events (if you're into that!).

Qualifications

What You'll Bring to the Table

You're not just great with tech -- you're a problem solver, communicator, and trusted advisor. You bring hands-on experience, leadership, and a love for building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.

Your Tech Toolkit Includes:

Strong experience with

public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)

and

private cloud (VMware, Hyper-V)

. Expertise in

IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

, compute infrastructure, and modern EUC tech. Deep understanding of

networking, hosting, identity, and security

in cloud environments. Hands-on in at least one of the following: + Azure Security / Identity
+ Citrix Cloud / Citrix XenDesktop
+ Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
+ Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive)
+ Active Directory / Exchange

Soft Skills:

Clear, confident communicator Organised and calm under pressure Commercially aware -- you understand the "why," not just the "how." A team player and natural mentor Passionate about learning

Nice-to-Haves (But Not Deal-Breakers)

AZ-104, AZ-140, MS-500 certifications VCP / MCSE or equivalent vendor qualifications Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, PRINCE2 Degree in IT, Communications or similar - or equivalent experience
