Grampian Accounting is a family run Business with a conscientious, friendly team that have all worked together with service up to 20 years. We now wish to expand this team.
This role is for a Bookkeeper to work within a small team that perform the Bookkeeping and Payroll functions of the Business for multiple clients. Ensure all processing of client data is completed to a high standard and according to the relevant deadlines. Liaise directly with clients and ensure all reconciliations are complete and Bookkeeping complete up to Trial Balance stage for Accounts to be prepared.
The duties on the Payroll side will include the administrative elements of maintaining the payroll software for clients and training will be given to assist in the preparation of payrolls, publishing to clients and the relevant filings at HMRC.
The successful candidate must have substantial experience in Accounting software, especially Cloud packages, such as QuickBooks and Xero. It would be preferable if the successful candidate is also experienced in SAGE processing and Excel cashbooks.
The candidate is expected to have good organisational and communication skills.
The successful candidate will require to be meticulous, numerate and be able to communicate effectively with clients and fellow team members.
The successful candidate must have experience working in a professional office environment in the Bookeeping area and be looking to progress and train in payroll, if there is no payroll knowledge or experience.
