We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a Bar Staff member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving beverages, ensuring the bar area is well-maintained, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Upsell drinks and food items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible serving of alcohol.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent guest services skills with a focus on hospitality. A passion for culinary arts and beverage preparation is desirable. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week
