We're looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Club Manager to oversee the daily operations of our padel courts. Your role will include ensuring the courts are safe, equipment is in top condition, and most importantly, that our players have an exceptional experience. A good understanding and playing ability of padel is a must have as a key part of your role will be coaching and running new padel initiatives to get the club busy.
This role combines customer service, maintenance and administrative tasks, perfect for a self-starter who enjoys an active work environment and shares our vision of bringing padel to everyone, everywhere.
Key Responsibilities
:
Customer Communication & Safety
: Create a welcoming environment for players, assist clients on-site where needed, promote upcoming events, and manage WhatsApp communications for court availability, events, and more.
Court & Site Maintenance
: Ensure courts are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Perform regular checks on nets, glass panels, and sand distribution. Keep the site free from obstructions and maintain seating areas, safety equipment, and access.
Stock & Equipment Management/Sales
: Monitor and maintain rental rackets, conduct regular stock checks, ensure all equipment meets safety standards, coordinate any racket/ball sales .
Coach Coordination
: Ensure coaching sessions are covered, and coordinate substitute coaches when needed. We use the Playtomic app for all bookings and class management. We would require you to be proficient in this application and PPUK would provide full training.
Requirements
:
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour with clients
Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
Ability to handle court/site maintenance tasks and ensure safety on-site
Previous facility management experience preferred but not required
Good understanding and playing ability of padel (evidence to be provided)
County level of another racquet sport is also accepted
Padel coaching qualification preferred but not required
Mandatory First Aid provision - training offered if not certified

Remuneration:
Your normal hours of work are
20 hours per week
, these are
flexible between the hours of 8:00am to 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
You are entitled to a 60-minute unpaid break each day. Your normal hours of work are not variable however, you may be required to work overtime/additional hours when authorised and as necessitated by the needs of the business.
Your base salary is currently
12,698
per annum to be paid monthly in arrears on the last Friday of each month by BACS as detailed on your pay statement. The company will ensure that you always receive no less than the National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage.
You will also have the ability to offer coaching services at rates agreed within a separate Coaching Agreement with Padel Project UK Limited. Private coaching rates start at a suggested

per hour, this is arranged at your own discression.
Commission:
A flat fee of
833.34
will be earned per month if the Padel Project UK Potter Bar site achieves budgeted revenue target each month.
50
is earned for every additional 1,000 gross sales over the budgeted revenue target per month at the Padel Project UK UK Potters Bar site.
Commission payments will be calculated monthly and paid monthly in arrears, alongside your regular pay.
