Hotel Manager / Managing Director / Project Manager
Role
The Cluster IT Manager oversees the technology infrastructure across the COMO London properties, ensuring seamless IT operations to support the Hotel's standards. He/she is responsible for managing and maintaining all IT systems, including network infrastructure, hotel management software, and guest-facing technology. The Cluster IT Manager ensures data security, leads troubleshooting efforts, and coordinates with the Hotel departments to implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and guests experience.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Ensure colleagues and Hotel guests can depend on you when problems arise or when suggestions are needed
Strive and have your workforce strive for quality throughout your job and interaction with our guests
Review processes periodically on possible improvements to reach these standards
Respond promptly and politely to colleagues and guests telephone enquiries, noting details and following up accordingly
Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner and forward any comments in the guest comment forms to Front Office Manager
Refer all major complaints to the IT Manager immediately
Keep in close contact with Engineering coordinator in reference to maintenance repairs and out of order rooms
Maintain accurate work records to be handed over before going off duty
Be responsible for the upkeep of the IT office - neat, tidy, and clean ensuring a pleasant working environment
Participate fully in the teamwork aspect of the department and display a positive attitude at all times
Have a complete understanding of the hotels employee handbook and practice to the regulations contained within
Attend departmental meetings as required
Answer the paging system when applicable
Contact the relevant contractors when service support is required. Liaise with external systems suppliers/maintainers
Monitor the productivity of both IT Butler and Systems Administrator
Prioritise and set the workload for system administrators
Maintain relevant knowledge and skills to ensure a competence in support of the various technologies in use
Keep yourself updated continuously on the hotel's latest development and pass on such information correctly to your staff
Follow and enforce the set Rules and Regulations, and make sure your team applies ot safety measures indicated in your SOPs
Ensure the good functioning of your colleagues' working tools, which will subsequently reflect in the quality of your services
Essential Attributes
Previous experience in IT in luxury hotel setting
Proactive in approach with self-driven attitude
Excellent social and communication skills
Excellent spoken and written English
