United Learning is seeking a

Cluster IT Manager

to oversee and develop technology provision across our four Midlands Cluster schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and strategic professional to lead a dedicated IT team, manage infrastructure and software systems, and drive the digital strategies that support our educational goals. You'll work closely with senior school leaders to ensure technology enhances teaching, learning, and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do:

Lead and manage IT staff across the cluster, focusing on performance, development, and deployment. Ensure robust, efficient IT support across all sites via proactive Helpdesk and strategic oversight. Collaborate with leadership teams to deliver and evolve school-specific digital strategies. Manage IT budgets and maintain accurate hardware and software inventories. Design and implement fit-for-purpose IT systems, ensuring compliance, reliability, and innovation. Develop backup, disaster recovery, and continuity plans. Draft and enforce relevant IT policies and maintain up-to-date system documentation.

What We're Looking For:

Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience. A proven leader with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. Experience managing IT in multi-site or educational environments (desirable). Budget management experience and the ability to align technology with strategic goals. Organised, detail-focused, and confident in managing change.
