ROLE

We are currently looking for a CMM operator/inspector. Working as part of the Production Team and reporting to the Production Operation Leader at Sigma's Hinckley site, you will be responsible for operating the CMM with the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation: Manually operate CMMs to take measurements. Inspection: Inspect precision components for dimensional accuracy, adhering to quality standards Programming: Develop or execute inspection programs using software (e.g. Axel 32 and PCDMS). Data Analysis: Use software to analyse measurement data for design, quality, or development. Documentation: Maintain accurate inspection records and reports. Collaboration: Work with engineering, Quality and production teams to resolve issues.

Skills Needed

Strong attention to detail. Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience with CMM software and hardware. Understanding of quality standards. Fabrication experience Modular fixture design and manufacture experience Lightbox system experience Functional skills, Maths and English level 2 minimum

Pay: 32,448.00-36,504.00 per year
