Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Global CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Smart Buildings Strategy Lead to spearhead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our CMMS strategy across our global operations for a Tier 1 Life Sciences Account. This pivotal role will be based in the UK and will be instrumental in optimizing our approach to asset and lifecycle management, driving operational efficiency and enabling data-driven decision-making, particularly within the context of smart buildings and leveraging innovative technologies like AI. This role requires a strong PMO focus, excellent stakeholder collaboration skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of strategic vision and a hands-on approach, demonstrating a willingness to 'roll up their sleeves' to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive global CMMS strategy aligned with the organization's strategic goals, incorporating innovation and emerging technologies. Define and manage the CMMS roadmap, including prioritization of projects and initiatives. Stay abreast of industry and CBRE best practices, emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, predictive maintenance) and incorporate them into the CMMS strategy.



Deployment and Adoption:

Lead the global deployment and continuous improvement of the CMMS across all sites, ensuring effective utilization, user adoption and adherence to established standards. Develop and implement change management strategies to support CMMS adoption and utilization across diverse global teams. Establish and maintain robust CMMS training programs and documentation to ensure user proficiency and data integrity. Support the development of Smart Building, Energy & Sustainability programs and strategy aligned with Client expectations.

Innovation and Improvement:Identify opportunities for CMMS enhancement and optimization, including the integration of smart FM solutions and AI-driven predictive maintenance capabilities. Drive innovation by researching, evaluating, and implementing new CMMS features and functionalities. Analyse data and KPIs to assess system performance, identify areas for improvement, and track the ROI of CMMS initiatives.

PMO and Project Management:Establish and manage a robust project management framework (PMO) for CMMS initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Develop project plans, manage resources and track progress against key milestones.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:Cultivate strong working relationships with local and regional teams across the globe to facilitate successful CMMS deployment and ensure high adoption rates. Proactively engage with stakeholders to clarify roles and responsibilities, secure buy-in for CMMS initiatives and ensure timely completion of tasks. Establish and maintain clear communication channels with the client, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives, project progress, and any potential challenges. Act as a champion for global CMMS standards, proactively advocating for adherence and providing guidance to local teams while respectfully addressing any deviations or concerns. Effectively manage expectations and resolve conflicts constructively to maintain a positive and collaborative environment.

Data Integrity and Compliance:Act as Data Custodian and oversee the maintenance of CMMS data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Conduct regular audits of the CMMS to ensure consistent and accurate data entry and usage. Identify and resolve issues within the CMMS, ensuring timely solutions to operational issues. Facilitate and oversee data collection and validation initiatives to ensure the accuracy, completeness and reliability of CMMS data.

Team Leadership and Oversight:Oversee and manage CMMS administration and operational Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), providing guidance, support and mentorship. Ensure alignment of CMMS admin resources with strategic objectives. Directly engage in troubleshooting, data entry, and other operational tasks as needed to ensure system effectiveness and support operational needs. "Roll up their sleeves" and be hands-on when required.

Qualifications

:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience in Technology systems implementation, management, and operations, with a strong focus on strategic development, optimization, and driving innovation. Proven experience leading and managing complex, global technology projects and initiatives. Strong understanding of maintenance management principles, practices, and related technologies. Demonstrated experience in implementing and leveraging smart solutions and/or AI within an FM / CMMS environment. Excellent project management skills, with experience in establishing and managing a PMO framework. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams, driving change initiatives, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in CMMS software and related technologies Strong data analysis and reporting skills including experience interpreting KPIs, and creating dashboards and reports to visualise CMMS performance and identify trends
