Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) - Blockchain - this is a fully remote role for UK/Europe based candidates.
We are building tokenized funds for the onchain economy . Our core product are programmable baskets of crypto assets -- giving individuals, protocols, and institutions seamless exposure to diversified portfolios with a single token.
Built on the ERC-7621 tokenized basket standard , they are transparent, interoperable, and designed to integrate seamlessly across DeFi.
With us, anyone can design and launch their own basket in minutes -- unlocking a new design space for tokenized portfolios. From independent creators to large institutions, they make it simple to build, share, and scale onchain investment strategies.
We see basket as a hugely scalable piece of DeFi infrastructure . Currently live in beta, we have some major milestones ahead as we scale adoption and expand the possibilities of onchain asset management.
As we enter our next phase of growth, we're seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to own our voice, shape our narrative, and position us as the category leader in tokenized funds -- driving adoption by bridging product, partnerships, and culture across both DeFi and institutional audiences.
In this role, you'll:
Define our brand and positioning in a fast-moving DeFi + institutional landscape
Develop and execute marketing strategies in the crypto/blockchain space
Craft compelling storytelling across thought leadership, content, social, and campaigns
Build and scale community engagement across crypto-native channels
Run product marketing -- translating technical innovation into clear, accessible narratives
Lead events, PR, and ecosystem presence to amplify us and build credibility globally
Build a small, high-leverage marketing org over time
We're looking for someone who's:
A proven marketing leader (crypto, fintech, or high-growth startups)
Equally fluent in DeFi culture and institutional finance language
Ability to create and implement effective marketing campaigns that achieve measurable results
Skilled in narrative design, brand strategy, and content execution with a sharp eye for detail and consistency
Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influencers
Entrepreneurial, experimental, and eager to shape a new market category
