We have an exciting new opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic Project Controls Engineer who will manage delivery performance information to ensure successful project delivery through proactive solutions. Handling activities within the PMO or Delivery Programmes, aligning with the project's governance.

You'll:



Be responsible for either the complete Project Controls activities for a discrete area of scope or supporting Programme Controls Managers in the wider delivery of Project Controls activities. Be responsible for liaising with the supply chain and the assurance of their Project Controls information Co-ordinate the Project Controls Functions to ensure the delivery of integrated Project Controls management information. To support the Programme Controls Manager with progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement. Be accountable for the on-time production and quality of month end Performance Reports Help ensure the project is viewed by the Construction Industry as an exemplar in Project Controls through knowledge sharing, networking and delivering presentations to the sector. Manage senior stakeholders related to the scope being controlled or within the project.

About You:



Essential:



Professional experience undertaking Programme Controls Manager roles for the development and/or delivery of large, complex construction projects Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders in order to identify and mitigate issues. A track record of implementing procedures, processes, and systems on large and complex infrastructure projects. Deliverables focused and an accomplished problem solver, rising to meet any challenge.

Desirable:



Lean Six Sigma or equivalent qualification and experience. Previous experience in assurance activities within Project Controls. Active membership of AACE, PMI, APM or similar association with association certifications. Understanding of various contract types, in particular the NEC suite and FIDIC. Professionally qualified with chartered or equivalent status. Experience of working within any of the Project Controls Functions of cost control, estimating, scheduling, change management and risk management. Experience in the Nuclear sector.
