Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in programming CNC grinding machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The CNC Grinder will be responsible for ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Duties

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for various grinding operations. Assemble components using hand tools. Utilise tooling effectively to achieve desired outcomes in production. Support metal finishing processes to ensure customer requirements are achieved. Conduct grinding operations to refine and finish components as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery relevant to the role. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player. A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of work.
