Job Description
Established for over 40 years, KSW Engineering Ltd is a leading sub-contract machining & clad welding facility supplying critical and complex components (predominantly) to the global energy sector. With the help of more than 50 highly skilled employees working at our location in Glenrothes, the company has a prestigious customer base that has a high demand for the services we provide. We are a subcontract machining & welding facility, providing services to manufacture large & complex parts for the energy industry.
We are looking for various
CNC Horizontal Borers
. The successful candidates must be experienced and capable of working on their own initiative on large and complex parts.Hours
These are full time positions working various shift patterns of 39 hours (Monday to Friday).
Dayshift: Mon-Thu 08:00-17:00 & Fri 08:00-13:00 Nightshift: Mon-Thu 21:30-08:00 with 07:00 Finish on Friday morning
Responsibilities
Minimal training will be given for this position as applicants require a high level of knowledge in operating this type of CNC machine tool (see below) along with the ability to work on complex components.
Understanding and programming of Fanuc controls on Doosan or Giddings & Lewis machines (or similar) Live spindle tooling Handling and set up of components (sometimes exceeding 10,000KG) Setting & Operation of CNC Machines Full understanding of CNC programming Full understanding of Quality requirements within facilities like KSW Knowledgeable about the various high value materials being machined along with tools, speeds & feeds used to do so.
As mentioned, these positions are for highly skilled operators only and as such it is expected that little training will be required of the applicants.
