Job Description
BHC is one of the UK's leading Structural Steel Fabrication and Construction companies, supplying, and erecting fabricated steel nationwide within the UK and Ireland.
We currently have vacancies for a CNC Loader who is familiar with Structural Steel Sections. Reporting to the Production Manager the role is to receive material into the correct location within the workshop, and to load materials in the correct order and on time.
Key duties include
Operation of all equipment for the role in a safe manner, including overhead cranes. Complete relevant documentation and record work activity using TnT scanning systems or Strumis system. Ensure delivery lines are passed onto the Material Controller in a timely manner. Ensure all materials are placed into their correct locations and location passed to Material Controller. Liaise with CNC Manager who will provide lists for Material required at each CNC Machine. Unload material from vehicles in a timely manner and place in correct location. Continuous housekeeping ensuring a clean and safe working environment at all times following BHC written work instructions. Adhere to BHC Health and Safety procedures at all times.
The successful candidate will be a good communicator, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You should be conscientious, hardworking, flexible and health and safety aware.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets in a safe manner at all times.
