Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and machining processes, with proficiency in operating CNC machinery. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, programming machines, and ensuring high-quality production standards while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Interpret CAD drawings and SolidWorks models to set up and programme machines effectively. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilise hand tools and tooling for assembly and fabrication tasks as required. Perform quality checks using basic maths and measurement tools to ensure adherence to specifications. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during machining operations. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication, milling, welding, and assembly. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their application in CNC operations. Proficient in using CAD software for interpreting designs and programming machines. Experience with materials handling techniques and safety protocols in a warehouse setting. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and quality control checks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
