Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team at HycAero. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components for the aerospace sector. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering innovative solutions while ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

Shift:

Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm / Friday 8.00am to 12.15pm

Job specification

Reading and interpreting Engineering drawings. Producing CNC programmes from customer drawings. Ability to inspect own work to drawings. CNC Programming and Operating Systems. Aerospace requirements / standards, tolerancing and controls. General high standard of Engineering ability. Maintain your area to a high standard of 5S.

Person Specification

Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (advantageous but not essential)*
Experience of CNC Milling and Turning. Ability to programme, set and operate different machine tools. Adept with HAAS controls (advantageous but not essential)*
Experience within the Aerospace industry. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of different materials.
