CNC Machinist
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our clients team in King's Lynn . The primary focus of this role is manual turning, swagging, and universal grinding while ensuring high-quality precision work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manual turning with tight tolerances using a lathe
Additional machining tasks and intricate work as required
Second operation activities such as deburring
Housekeeping, Lean 6S, and maintenance activities
What We're Looking For:
Apprentice-trained manual machinist or ONC (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering
Ability to work independently on manual lathes and swagging techniques
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and inspecting own work
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines
Awareness of Healthy & Safety in a machine shop environment
Working hours: Monday to Thursday (8am -4:30pm) Friday (8am-3:30pm)
