We are a rapidly growing team and are now looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our skilled manufacturing department.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a CNC Machinist with strong experience working with Haas and Heidenhain controllers. The ideal candidate will have a background in machining aerospace components, with a deep understanding of tight tolerances, high-performance materials, and AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Setup 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines according to setup sheets.
Prove out new programs on Haas and DMG CNC Milling machines.
Edit and write programs as required on Haas and DMG Heidenhain controllers.
Check part dimensions from Engineering drawings using the correct measuring equipment, applying the correct tolerance.
Work closely with engineers and quality to continuously improve processes and efficiencies
Ensure machine maintenance is kept up to date.
Ensure a high standard of house keeping at all times.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience on 3 and 5 axis Milling machines
Proven experience with Haas and Heidenhain Controllers.
Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawings.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified environments.
Background in CNC machining of Steel, Stainless, Aluminium and Polymers
Previous experience in a low-volume, rapid response part manufacture
