Responsibilities

Running and monitoring CNC machines Routinely checking and monitoring Machine Shop throughput/efficiencies Support implementation of 5S activities throughout the machining areas Comply with all the organisations HSEQ policy and procedure requirements - including Risk Assessments, PPE Instructions and other Safe Working Instructions. Conduct pre-use visual checks on machines prior to commencing work. Check condition of cables of equipment prior to commencing work activities. Maintain a clean and tidy work area before, during and after completing work. Examine own work, checking for defects to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications Record work activity on Production packs (and any other documentation as and when instructed).

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years working with CNC Lathes and/or Milling machines Minimum of 3 years setting experience Experience using Mazak CNCs desirable The ability to work in both Metric & Imperial units. An understanding of drawings / technical data Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with personnel at all levels;
