As a CNC Machinist, you will play a key role in the precision repair and restoration of critical components, ensuring reliability, safety, and quality across all machining operations. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to repair, modify, and recondition parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. While the role is primarily CNC-focused, manual machining operations may also be required as part of the repair process.
You will ensure that customer and project requirements are achieved efficiently and accurately, delivering high-quality repaired components that meet NOV's performance and quality standards. You will work closely with the Shift Supervisor, promoting open communication on machining challenges, safety, and continuous improvement, and contributing ideas to enhance repair methods and workshop efficiency. Your technical expertise and CNC programming skills will be integral to supporting NOV's repair operations and maintaining accurate documentation in line with company procedures and quality plans.
