Job title: CNC Machinist / Programmer / Setter

Location: Salisbury

About the role

You will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine. Working within tight tolerances whilst maintaining high quality standards and safety concerns. Keeping records whilst maintaining equipment and tooling.

What I will be doing.

• The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the completion of route cards and engineering documents.
• You will maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• 3 Axis experience essential but some 5 axis knowledge would be preferred.
• The CNC Machinist should be able to support and challenge design to make working processes more efficient.
• You will maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer\'s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions.

What do I need?

• The CNC Machinist should have good knowledge of modern computing with preferable experience of multiple CNC controls.
• You should understand the operation of CNC and manual mills, and lathes, pillar drills, grinders.
• You must be familiar with the following CNC controls. HURCO, FANUC, SIEMENS, MAZAK.

Please note that all applicants must be eligible for SC clearance as a minimum.
