We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components. Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring precise calibration and alignment according to technical drawings and specifications Interpret CAD drawings and SolidWorks models to programme machining operations Perform grinding, milling, and other machining processes to produce components within specified tolerances Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance Utilise hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment for assembly, fitting, and finishing tasks Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety standards Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimise downtime

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Previous expereince operating a CNC machine Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment effectively Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assurance purposes Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision manufacturing Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
