CNC Machinist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and be proficient in operating CNC machinery. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC milling machines ensuring precision and accuracy in machining processes. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements. Set up tooling and fixtures for various machining operations. Conduct regular inspections of machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform basic maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning and lubrication. Utilise hand tools for adjustments and repairs as necessary. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proficient in the use of CAD software; experience with SolidWorks is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machining issues effectively. Familiarity with materials handling and warehouse operations is beneficial. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations. Experience with tooling setups and adjustments on CNC machinery. Knowledge of logic controllers is preferred but not essential. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
