Deans Engineering (CNC Miller)

Have a vacancy for a time served CNC Miller, who can set and program a series of Fanuc controlled machines. The setting will involve both existing components and the development of new parts, using both vertical and horizontal machines, working closely with off-line programming. The hourly rate will be dependent on your experience and the value you can add to our business.

CNC Miller Responsibilities:

Set up, program, and operate a number of both vertical and horizontal Fanuc controlled CNC mills Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure a high standard of component. Monitor machine performance and quality, making necessary adjustments. Conduct regular basic maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure their optimal functioning. Inspect finished components to meet the required quality standards. Troubleshoot and repair basic machine issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the management team to optimize manufacturing processes and improve cycle times. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety regulations.

CNC Miller Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in CNC milling, specifically with 4-axis horizontal or vertical Milling machines as time-served Tradesperson. Experience of working to quality standards on precision components. Proficiency in Fanuc machine programming and operation. Knowledge of basic machine maintenance and care. Ability to proficiently use hand tools.
