Due to the increase in growth and demand We're looking for a talented CNC Milling Programmer to join our team. This is an opportunity to bring new ideas, fresh thinking, and your own technical expertise to a team that values innovation, precision, and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in shaping how we approach complex machining challenges, influence the drive/direction for investment in machinery and software within your area whilst developing your own skills on projects that truly make an impact.

In this role, you'll be more than just a button-pusher -- you'll be a problem solver, a precision engineer, and a vital part of a team that thrives on creating top-quality components.

Key Responsibilities



Create and optimize CNC milling programs online (Haidenhain & Mazatrol) or offline on inventor CAM / fusion 360. (Offline experience preferable but not essential) Program ,Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts to drawings and specifications. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documents. Conduct first-off inspections and adjust programs/machines as required to achieve dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions. Work closely with production, design, and quality to improve processes and reduce cycle times. Support cross-training activities and assist in developing team capability. Maintain machines, tooling, and equipment in safe working condition. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health & safety procedures and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Flexibly support other machining disciplines when needed

Requirements



Proven experience as a CNC Milling Programmer within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazatrol). Proficiency in CAM software for 3 and 4-axis machining. Willing to use manual machines for tasks beyond CNC scope. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and a good understanding of GD&T. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Desirable Skills



Experience with multi-axis machining (4/5-axis). Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies. Turning experience to help provide cover for holidays / sickness.
